Dr. Yoleidi Fontes

Dr. Fontes earned her degree as a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Camagüey Ignacio Agramonte Y Loinaz, Camagüey, Cuba in 1996. She passed the board and obtained her license in 2013. She was technician from 2009 to 2013. Dr Fontes was previously working for Banfield Pet Hospital for 2 years, before she open her own clinic on July 1, 2019. Her goal in life is to be able to care for animals in need and provide a better living for them. She is an active member of the Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), South Florida Veterinary Medical Association (SFVMA) and Cuban Veterinary College. In her free time, Dr. Fontes enjoys studying, read books and spending time with her family and friends and her dog Blanquita. She loves internal medicine. She hopes to learn more day by day and further enrich her profession.

Veterinary Tech Omar Castellanos

Omar is a veterinarian that graduated from the University of Central de las Viillas MARTHA ABREUS, Cuba in 1991. He is currently working as our veterinary technician till he completes his DMV exam.

Veterinary Tech Alain Viamontes

Alain is a veterinarian that graduated from the University of Camaguey, Cuba in 1997. He worked as a veterinarian in Ecuador from 2012 to 2016. Now, he has been working as a veterinary technician for a few years while he is preparing to take the board here in the United States. He’s the type of person to go a step beyond to help our clients in their needs. He is an animal lover and the owner of Lola the Frenchie which you may encounter by coming to our clinic. He likes to do barbecue on Sundays with his friends.

Veterinary Tech Miguel Torres study at the University of Camaguey, Cuba in 1997. Miguel and Alain graduated in Cuba together, and later connected again now at Fontes Animal Clinic
